Covid Vaccine - 10th February 2021 update

We are still continuing to work hard to deliver Covid immunisations to our patients and have now given the first dose to almost all of our housebound patients and those aged over 80 years of age.

We are currently working through the list of those aged 70 - 79 years of age and those who have been in a shielding category. This is being done through a combination of week day and Saturday clinics. If you are in this category you should have been contacted by now and offered an appointment.  Weather permitting we aim to be finished this category by Sunday 14th February.

We will soon be working through the list of those patients aged 16 - 64 years of age who have an underlying health condition or are an unpaid carer, this will include all adult carers and young carers aged 16 - 18 years of age.  If you are in this category we will be contacting you soon to offer you an appointment.  Weather permitting we aim to be finished this category by Sunday 28th February.

However, we have now reached capacity in what we can deliver as a practice as we have to continue our normal service with the Covid immunisation programme being additional work for all our staff (with the same absences that others are experiencing due to Covid!). We have also had to take into account that we will have to repeat the process again to get everyone their second dose in a few weeks. For this reason, the Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership have taken on responsibility for immunising all those aged 65 - 69 years of age. If you are in that age category, they will be in touch with you directly to arrange an appointment at Dewar's Rink in Perth. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note if you are over 80 years of age and we have not been in touch with you please contact us.
